Bristol Girl Bosses Exhibition The other week I posted about the new Bristol Girl Bosses exhibition we were putting up at Blaze shop, last week was the preview night. Not only was it the preview night, but it was also International Women’s Day, so perfectly timed for our art exhibition.
It’s half way through March and I thought a little look back at February was in order. The start of this year has been absolutely manic for me. Usually the year starts pretty slow for me, generally because I’ve got me the New Year lazies. This year, however, I ran full speed ahead. I spent January booking in events for the year, including Cardiff Anime Con, CICE and Tobacco factory market. Along with organising March’s Muse exhibition with the girls from Bristol Girl Bosses.
Bristol Girl Bosses exhibition at Blaze I’m super excited to announce the Bristol Girl Bosses first collective exhibition in Bristol. If you haven’t heard of us by now, the Bristol Girl Bosses is a collective of Makers in Bristol comprising of: Stephanie Male (Me); YayRaeFlay; Jess Baldry; Corinne Evans; Sabina Westlin; Fiona Clabon and Sky Siouki. We originally met last year at the Bristol Etsy Team meetup, and since then we’ve been meeting up for socials, and supporting each other.
I’ve been thinking about applying for some local Craft fairs and markets for a while. To actively get my name out into the community, rather than sitting back and waiting. I stumbled across a post on Made in Bristol’s Facebook page about applications for a new market in Bristol and thought I’d try my luck.
